San Mateo, Calif.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train in San Mateo on Tuesday evening, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on at the Hillsdale Station at about 6:25 p.m. February 13.
Authorities said Caltrain #413 train was traveling northbound when it struck a pedestrian on the tracks.
The victim was killed in the accident.
No one on the train was injured in the incident.
