Three vehicles collided near Buena Drive, leaving one person with minor injuries

One Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 1 in Watsonville

, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning on a highway in Watsonville, the California Highway Patrol said.

The pileup took place around 7:22 a.m. on northbound Highway 1, just north of Buena Vista Drive.

A Chevrolet Spark, a Toyota 4Runner, and a Honda Accord were involved in the collision.

One of the cars was completely smashed in and was leaking fluids.

An occupant of the Chevy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
