Fullerton. Calif. – A man was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Fullerton, according to Fullerton Police.
The accident happened just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 13 in the area of South Basque and West Orangethorpe avenues.
According to the Fullerton Police Department, the man was crossing OrangethorpeA when he was struck by a Nissan Kicks SUV driven by a 53-year-old Buena Park woman. The pedestrian, whose name was not immediately released, died in the incident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Fullerton police are investigating the incident and do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the cause of the collision.
