The explosion happened near Alameda Street and Henry Ford Avenue

Los Angeles, Calif. – Nine firefighters were injured in an explosion involving pressurized cylinders on a truck that happened Thursday morning in Los Angeles' Wilmington area.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters responded to a truck with pressurized cylinders on fire in the area of Alameda Street and Henry Ford Avenue.
Shortly before 7 a.m., an explosion occurred on scene, injuring multiple firefighters. Two were hospitalized in critical condition. Seven others were hospitalized in unknown condition.
Details about the cause of the explosion and the contents of the cylinders were not given.
The truck was completely destroyed by the fire.
