Portland, Ore.- One of the four people who were injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision on Southwest Naito Parkway in Portland early Saturday morning is dead, according to a police report.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta, identified as 46-year-old Jacob M. Tabor, struck a car on Southwest Naito Parkway in a minor collision and Tabor drove away before crashing into a Toyota Camry that was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Naito and Columbia.
Three men in the Camry were injured. One of them was pinned in and had to be extricated.
All three men and Tabor were taken to the hospital where the man who had been pinned in the Camry died.
The driver of the Camry remains hospitalized. Authorities determined that Tabor was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. He was booked into the Multnomah County Jail for DUII and 2 counts of assault.
The incident remains under investigation.

Portland, Ore.- Four people were injured in an early Saturday morning car accident in Portland, the Portland police said.
The collision happened on Southwest Naito Parkway near Southwest Jefferson Street at about 2:50 a.m.
The crash, whose cause was not immediately established, involved two cars, police said.
One person suffered life-threatening injuries while three other patients had less serious injuries.
