A pedestrian died after being struck by multiple vehicles collided on Highway 101 near Leavesley Road in Gilroy
Gilroy, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car near Gilroy on Saturday night in Gilroy, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 8:40 p.m. on Highway 101 near Leavesley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who arrived at the scene found a pedestrian down on the roadway. Police say the victim had been struck by multiple vehicles.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
