Authorities said an SUV hit a motor scooter Monday evening under unclear circumstances
Sacramento, Calif. – One person was severely hurt in a traffic collision involving a scooter and an SUV that happened Monday evening in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision took place around 6:18 p.m. on Bradshaw Road near Gerber Road.
Sacramento firefighters responded to the scene and found a motor scooter and a light-blue Lexus SUV involved in the accident.
The scooter rider was hospitalized with severe injuries.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
