One person succumbed to injuries at the accident scene and another was taken to a regional trauma center in critical condition

Los Angeles, Calif. – One person was killed in a car crash on Tuesday morning near Van Nuys in Los Angeles.
The fatal collision happened at around 10:20 a.m. on Saticoy Street near Louise Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A coupe and a pickup truck were involved in the morning collision. The pickup truck reportedly crashed into a building after the collision.
Two people were trapped inside the pickup truck and had to be extricated by the firefighters. Sadly, one of the victims succumbed to injuries at the accident scene.
The second victim, an adult female, was taken to a regional trauma center in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
