Los Angeles, Calif. – The Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner has identified the man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saticoy Street as Anthony David Dearo, 37, of Camarillo.
The fatal collision happened at around 10:20 a.m. on Saticoy Street near Louise Street.
According to the CHP, a 2021 Toyota Tacoma and a Lexus RC collided and the impact caused the truck to veer into a tree and then a nearby building.
Anthony Dearo, who was the sole occupant of the Tacoma, died at the scene. An adult female, who was the driver and the sole occupant of the Lexus, was critically injured and was taken to a regional trauma center.

Two people were trapped inside the pickup truck and had to be extricated by the firefighters. Sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, an adult female, was taken to a regional trauma center in critical condition.
