Davis was crossing Beach Boulevard and was struck by a 2021 Tesla Model Y traveling south on Beach Boulevard

Huntington Beach, Calif. – Johnny Lee Davis, 67, of Stockton, has been identified as the man who died after being struck by a car in Huntington Beach on Wednesday night.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. at Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Davis was crossing Beach Boulevard and was struck by a 2021 Tesla Model Y traveling south on Beach Boulevard.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 33-year-old Huntington Beach resident driving the Tesla stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
