One person was hospitalized after two cars collided on Highway 9 near Highway 35 in San Jose

San Jose, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a two-car accident on Friday afternoon in San Jose.
The 3:04 p.m. collision happened on Highway 9 near Highway 35, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were recovered at the scene of the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to Stanford University Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
