Foster City, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Friday afternoon in Foster City.

The collision happened at around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 92 on the San Mateo Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Five vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.

Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene and transported one person to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
