Authorities said the crash happened at around 2:26 p.m. on Highway 137 and Road 168.

A Honda collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado on the highway for reasons not yet established.

A child was injured in the accident and was transported to Kaweah Delta Health District for treatment.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
