Sacramento, Calif. – A 22-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident early Sunday morning in Sacramento.
The accident happened at around 2:24 a.m. at 8th and N streets, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
A motorcyclist reportedly collided with a car in unclear circumstances.
The rider was severely injured and was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased person was later identified as Marvin Alcides Moran, according to the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.
The driver of the car fled the scene and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
