One person was hospitalized after Highway 101 car accident near San Antonio Road in Redwood City

Redwood City, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Redwood City on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at around 3:32 p.m. on Highway 101 near San Antonio Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered six vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

CHP says at least one person suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
