Eugene, Ore. – A man was killed in a crash involving a train at East Meadow View Road in Eugene Sunday evening.
According to a police report, the collision happened at around 7:50 p.m. at East Meadow View Road near Prairie Road.
The suspect was fleeing the police when his car was hit by a northbound Amtrak train as he attempted to cross the railroads.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
