Portland, Ore.- Peter Pellegrin, 74, has died after being involved in a moped collision with a vehicle in Portland in last month.

According to the authorities, the collision happened in the area of SW Boones Ferry Road and 19th Avenue on February 7.

The Portland Police Department said Pellegrin was riding a moped in the area when he slammed into a car.

Pellegrin was taken to a hospital in critical condition and he succumbed to the injuries on March 2.

The driver of the car was uninjured and stayed at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
