Phoenix, Ariz. – A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash near an intersection in North Phoenix Sunday night.
The Phoenix Police Department responded to a deadly motorcycle crash near Cave Creek and Cactus Roads at around 10 p.m. on March 3.
Reportedly, the rider was speeding east on Cactus Road when he collided with the back of a car that was pulling out of a private driveway on the south side of Cactus Road.
The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead.
The name of the victim was upheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver remained at the scene and officers said they were not impaired at the time of crash.
