Authorities said a vehicle was pulling out of a parking when it tried to turn onto Parkway and struck Cromwell

Vancouver, Wash. – Michael D. Cromwell, 37, of Vancouver, has been identified as the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in the Van Mall neighborhood last month, according to the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident took place just before 10:18 p.m. February 18, in the 8100 block of NE Parkway Drive.
Authorities said a vehicle was pulling out of a parking when it tried to turn onto Parkway and struck Cromwell.
According to the report, Cromwell was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Vancouver Police Department is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
