Grant County, Wash. – The Grant County Sheriff's Office has identified the three victims killed in a car crash in Mattawa Thursday morning.
The three Bolivia residents were identified as Hilda Mamani Rodriguez, 29, Aida Mamani Rodriguez, 25 and Efrain Flores Garcia, 29.
Investigators said the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup was heading west on Road 25-Southwest just after 6 a.m. when the driver failed to obey the stop sign at Road R-Southwest. That F-150 collided with a garbage truck that was heading south on Road R-Southwest.
There were four people in the F-150; three died at the scene. The fourth person, the driver whose identity has not yet been verified, sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
The driver of the garbage truck, 50-year-old George Prebicin Jr of Warden, sustained minor injuries.

Mattawa, Wash.- Three people died following a crash that occurred near Mattawa in Grant County early Thursday morning, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities received reports of the crash at about 6 a.m. in the area near Road 25 SW and Road R SW.
Deputies said a Ford F-150 and a garbage truck were involved in the crash.
Three occupants of the Ford died in the collision.
One other occupant of the Ford was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No serious injuries were reported by the driver of the garbage truck.
The cause of the deadly crash is under investigation.
