Phoenix, Ariz. – 46-year-old Jimmy Anthony Aviles was killed in a head-on crash Wednesday evening near an intersection in Phoenix.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened at around 5 p.m. on March 13 near 29th Street and Southern Avenue.
Reportedly, Aviles was driving westbound when he lost control and crossed over into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a second car.
Police suspected Aviles may have been impaired during the collision.
Aviles was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The other driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
