Escondido, Calif. – Five people, including two children, were injured in a car accident on Sunday afternoon in Escondido.
The accident was reported around 2:30 p.m. on San Pasqual Valley Road and 17th Avenue, according to the Escondido Fire Department.
Two cars with eight occupants in total were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
