Bakersfield, Calif. – The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified 34-year-old Jessica Lauren Hargrove of Bakersfield as woman killed in pedestrian crash Thursday night on Cottonwood Road in Bakersfield.
Hargrove was involved in a deadly auto-pedestrian crash at around 7:53 p.m. on March 14 . on the 4700 block of Cottonwood Road, near Pacheco Road.
Hargrove was walking eastbound on Cottonwood Road when she was struck by a northbound pickup truck on the same road.
She suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bakersfield, Calif. – A woman died after being struck by a car on Thursday night in southeast Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the accident happened around 7:53 p.m. on the 4700 block of Cottonwood Road, near Pacheco Road.
A woman was reportedly struck by a pickup truck that was traveling northbound on Cottonwood. Authorities who arrived at the scene found a woman down on the roadway with major injuries.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
