Nuys, Calif. – The County Department of Medical Examiner has identified34-year-old Richard Leos of Van Nuys as rider killed in crash Friday morning in crash on Hazeltine Avenue in Van Nuys.

Leos was involved in the wreck at around 11 a.m. on March 15 on Hazeltine Avenue near Bessemer Street.

Leos was ejected from his motorcycle and died at the crash site after being hit by a Metro G Line .

His 12-year-old girls remained hospitalized and was said to be in critical condition.

Van Nuys, Calif. – A motorcyclist was killed and a young girl was critically injured in a collision involving a bus in the Van Nuys area Friday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The accident happened at about 11 a.m. Friday, March 15 on Hazeltine Avenue near Bessemer Street, the police department said.

The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department officers responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a Metro G Line bus.

The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The rider's passenger – a 12-year-old girl- was critically injured and was taken to Valley Presbyterian Hospital.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured man. According to the LAPD, a girl riding on the back of the motorcycle was critically injured and taken to a hospital.

It was not immediately clear if anyone on the bus was hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
