Three vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the intestate near Roy Rogers Drive, blocking all traffic lanes.
Victorville, Calif. – Major injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday evening in Victorville, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place at around 6:34 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 near Roy Rogers Drive.
Three vehicles collided, blocking all three traffic lanes.
A white sedan was allegedly traveling in and out of traffic lanes and stopped in the roadway at one time, possibly causing collisions.
Two people were reportedly unable to get out of their vehicle after the collision.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. Emergency personnel responded and transported the victim to the hospital.
The traffic lanes remained closed until around 7:38 p.m.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
