19-year-old Daniel Antonio Garcia was arrested Monday in connection to a deadly hit-and-run bicycle crash that happened last year on Van Nuys Boulevard in Arleta.

Los Angeles, California: The Los Angeles Police Department said they arrested 19-year-old Daniel Antonio Garcia of Panorama City Monday in connection to a deadly hit-and-run bicycle accident that happened last year in Arleta.
Garcia was booked into jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run causing death.
Police said around 10:50 p.m. on Aug. 12, Garcia is believed to have been driving a black Infiniti sedan west on Van Nuys Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he veered to the right to pass another car west of Lev Avenue.
The sedan hit a bicyclist who was also traveling west on Van Nuys.
The force of the impact sent the cyclist in a northwest direction, where he collided with a parked car before coming to rest on the sidewalk.
The victim, 44-year-old David Rodriguez of Los Angeles, died at the scene.
