Authorities said the girl was walking with other pedestrians when they were hit by a suspected DUI driver
Laguna Hills, Calif. – A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized with critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Laguna Hills last week on Wednesday, according to the authorities.
The collision took place at Paseo de Valencia and Los Alisos at about 6:10 p.m. March 13.
Authorities said the girl was walking with other pedestrians when they were hit by a suspected DUI driver.
At least three people were transported to a local hospital and the girl was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
