The Washington State Patrol said the accident happened on Portal Way near Interstate 5 at around 2:55 a.m.
A car hauler was traveling at a high rate of speed when it tipped over and slid across the freeway while attempting to turn onto the southbound lanes of the freeway.
The impact of the collision caused the car hauler to hit a van.
