A black Honda Civic and a big rig were involved in the collision at Maher Road and Little Hill Lane.

Watsonville, Calif. – One person was hurt in a big rig accident that happened Wednesday evening near an intersection in Watsonville, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision occurred just after 8 p.m. near Maher Road and Little Hill Lane.
A black Honda Civic and a semi-truck were involved in the crash.
One person was pulled out of one of the vehicles.
Emergency personnel responded and provided medical help to an occupant of the Honda who suffered possible major injuries.
The Honda was towed away with major front-end damage, and the semi-truck's 53-foot fully loaded trailer sustained a broken axle and was also towed away.
Officers are investigating the collision.
