Antioch, California – A man was killed in a car accident that left one other person injured in Antioch on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was reported around 5:40 p.m. at L and West 4th streets, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 20-year-old man was riding a dirt bike southbound on L Street at a high rate of speed when he collided with a white van that had entered the intersection.
The dirt bike rider was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The van driver was critically injured and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
