2 People Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Warren Road in Selma

, Ore. – Two people, including a DUI suspect, were injured in a three-car crash on Warren Road in Selma Wednesday, according to the Josephine County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened at about 12:07 a.m. and involved a green 4Runner, a white Ford truck, and a Toyota Tundra.

Authorities say the 4Runner had broken down and the Ford truck went to tow it. As the 4Runner was being towed, it, for unknown reasons, veered into the opposite lane and collided with the Tundra.

According to the sheriff's office, the female driver of the 4Runner was ejected following the collision and was found in the roadway. The 4Runner itself drove downhill into a nearby bush.

The driver of the Tundra, identified as Jared Robbins, and the ejected female driver were taken to the hospital.

Authorities say Robbins will be charged with third-degree assault and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants after he is released from the hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
