A police patrol car overturned after reportedly colliding with another vehicle on 63rd Avenue and Baseline Road
West Valley, Ariz. – A Gila River Police Officer was injured in a crash that led to the arrest of two people in the West Valley early Thursday morning.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the collision occurred in the area of 63rd Avenue and Baseline Road.
A police patrol car overturned after reportedly colliding with another vehicle.
The officer was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The two occupants of the second vehicle fled from the scene but were soon caught and detained.
According to the MCSO, impairment is suspected to have played a role in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
