One person was injured when a vehicle slammed into a building near an Elk Grove intersection on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.
The accident took place at Laguna Park Drive and Franklin Boulevard on Wednesday, March 20.
Police said the driver of a landscaping truck traveling south on Franklin Boulevard left the roadway and crashed into a dentist's office.
A person installing an equipment in the office was pinned between the vehicle and debris from the crash.
The person was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the collision.
