Four vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the highway at Soquel Drive.

Santa Cruz, Calif. – One person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning in Santa Cruz, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 7:45 a.m. on southbound Highway 1 at Soquel Drive.
Four vehicles, including a green Mini Cooper, a Hyundai SUV, and a GMC were involved in the collision.
The Cooper reportedly caught fire but the flames were doused with a fire extinguisher. Fluids were leaking from the GMC.
Authorities said at least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No other details were given but an investigation is ongoing.
