A 20-year-old Sonora man was trying to cross the highway when he was hit by a 2019 Honda Civic
Santa Cruz, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car early Friday morning in Santa Cruz.
The accident happened at around 12:15 a.m. on northbound Highway 1 near Main Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 20-year-old Sonora man was trying to cross the highway when he was hit by a 2019 Honda Civic.
The unidentified man was killed in the accident.
The 54-year-old Watsonville man who was driving the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
