The motorcycle accident happened around 11:35 p.m. at the intersection of Menifee and Newport roads, according to the Menifee Police Department.
A man was riding a Harley-Davidson eastbound on Newport when he crashed into the back of a Toyota sedan.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the bike, landing in the westbound lanes of Newport.

The Toyota driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
