Daniel Jones was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office

Riverside County, CA. – 57-year-old Daniel Jones has been identified as the bicyclist who died in a collision near Perris in Riverside County on Friday.
The collision was reported at around 7:35 a.m. on Cajalco Road near Wood Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Riverside man was found lying next to his bicycle on the roadway after a possible collision with a car.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
Information about the involved vehicle was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
