Phoenix, Ariz. – At least one person was seriously injured in a wrong-way accident on Interstate 17 in Phoenix Sunday morning.
According to a local source, the accident happened at around 8:06 a.m. on the northbound 17 Freeway near Indian School Road.
In unclear circumstances, a vehicle veered into the oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with the vehicle travelling on the right way.
At least one person suffered serious injuries in the accident.
