Mesa, Ariz. – A pedestrian was struck, severely injured by a vehicle on Loop 202 in Mesa Tuesday morning, according to a local source.
The auto-pedestrian crash was reported at around 9:23 a.m. on Loop 202 near Loop 101.

The victim was found lying on the roadway with severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
