The Nissan driver and an 11-year-old girl sustained major injuries and were airlifted to local hospitals for treatment

Fresno County, CA. – Several people were injured in a head-on collision that happened in Fresno County on Sunday evening.
The accident was reported around 7:50 p.m. in the area of Hills Valley Road and Manning Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
34-year-old Juan Aguilar, of Cutler, was driving a Dodge Durango northbound on Hills Valley Road south of Manning Avenue when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming Nissan Titan containing five people.
All parties were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated.
Aguilar and a passenger from the Titan were transported to the hospital with major injuries.

Two other passengers of the Titan were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
