Napa, CA. – One person was killed in a bicycle accident that happened on Tuesday night in Napa.
The fatal bicycle accident happened on Wine Country Avenue near Dumas Street at around 8:42 p.m., according to the Napa Police Department.
A bicyclist was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The bicyclist was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Queen of the Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Napa Police Department's Reconstruction Team is investigating the cause of the accident.
