Malibu, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The police responded to the collision at around 6:35 a.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Cross Creek Road.
Reportedly, a vehicle hit a pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances.
The victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.
Their identity was not immediately disclosed.
The Pacific Coast Highway was shut down during the on-scene investigation.
