Angel Ramirez Killed in Moreno Valley Car Accident on Gentian Avenue

, CA. – 19-year-old Angel Villalon Ramirez has been identified as the man who died in a car crash that left two other people injured in Moreno Valley on Thursday morning.

The accident was reported around 1 a.m. on Gentian Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers were performing a traffic stop in the area of and Sunnymead boulevards when a Kia K900 traveling southbound on Perris failed to stop and fled.

While racing down Gentian Avenue, the driver lost control and crashed into two parked cars.

Ramirez and another passenger were injured in the accident and were transported to Riverside University Medical Center. Sadly, Ramirez died while receiving treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
