75-Year-Old Puyallup Man Killed in Puyallup Train Accident on Meridian Avenue and Third Street

Puyallup, WA – A man was hit and killed by a train in Puyallup on Thursday morning, the Puyallup Police Department said.

The accident took place near Meridian Avenue and Third Street at about 8:44 a.m. March 28.

Police said the 75-year-old Puyallup man was trying to cross the tracks when he was hit by the BNSF train traveling towards Tacoma.

The victim died following the collision.

No further details were released.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
