Pomona, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday morning in Pomona.
The accident happened around 5:40 a.m. in the area of Towne and Bonita avenues, according to the Pomona Police Department.
A man was walking in the area and was struck by a car.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the man to a local hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Pomona Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the cause of the accident.
