Fresno, CA – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in North Fresno on Friday night, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The crash occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. March 29, at First Street and Barstow Avenue.
According to Fresno police, the pedestrian was trying to cross the intersection near Hoover High School when they were hit by a vehicle on a green light.
The victim was rushed to a hospital after sustaining major injuries in the collision.
Police said the victim is expected to survive the incident.
No further information about the collision was provided.
