Mecca, CA – One person was injured in a motorcycle accident that happened Saturday evening near an intersection in Mecca.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. on 2nd Street, just west of Date Palm Street.
A motorcycle collided with a Toyota Highlander for an unknown reason. The motorcycle ended up underneath the car.
One person was transported to John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other details were given but an investigation is ongoing.
