Nogales, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury wrong-way collision on 19 Freeway in Nogales early Saturday morning.
The traffic collision was reported at around 2:25 a.m. March 30 on the southbound Interstate 19.
A preliminary investigation stated that a vehicle was driving the wrong-way on the freeway in unclear circumstances, causing the collision with possibly a second vehicle.
The police said one person sustained severe injuries in the accident.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
