San Diego, CA – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Diego's Fairmont Park neighborhood on Sunday evening.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the 52-year-old pedestrian was hit in the area of Home Avenue and Gateway Drive just before 5 p.m. March 31.
The woman was reportedly walking east across Home Avenue when a northbound Honda SUV hit her.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver, a 32-year-old woman, was not hurt.
No further details were available.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the collision.
