A man was reportedly dancing in the eastbound lanes on 400 Sea World Drive when he was hit by a car and then ran over by another vehicle.

, CA – A man died after he was struck by two vehicles Tuesday night near SeaWorld San Diego, police said.

The San Diego Police Department said the accident took place just before 9 p.m. on 400 Sea World Drive.

A man was reportedly dancing in the eastbound lanes when he was struck by a Honda Fit driven in the eastbound right lane by a 48-year-old woman.

The was thrown into the eastbound left lane, where he was run over by a Toyota Camry driven by a 22-year-old man.

A Dodge Grand Caravan driven by a 35-year-old man then rear-ended the Camry.

First responders found the pedestrian underneath the car that hit him. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was unclear if any occupants in the vehicles were injured.

Investigators said impairment was not believed to be a contributing factor.
